Legendary Drummer VINNY APPICE: New Interview To Air Wednesday

A live interview with legendary drummer Vinny Appice (DIO, HEAVEN AND HELL, BLACK SABBATH, BIG NOIZE) will air on "The Vault of Metal" tomorrow (Wednesday, January 23) beginning at around 3:00 p.m. EST.

As previously reported, Vinny recently confirmed that the songwriting sessions for the new album from HEAVEN AND HELL — the band featuring Appice alongside vocalist Ronnie James Dio, bassist Geezer Butler and guitarist Tony Iommi — will begin in April 2008.

Rumor has it that HEAVEN AND HELL and JUDAS PRIEST will be joining forces for a summer tour. It should be noted, however, that this information has not yet been confirmed by an official source and should be considered a rumor only.

Vinny will play some dates with BIG NOIZE — the new supergroup featuring Appice with vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN),guitarist Carlos Cavazo (QUIET RIOT),and bassist Phil Soussan (OZZY OSBOURNE, BILLY IDOL).
